Ingredients
- 16 oz breakfast sausage
- 6 tbsp butter
- 4 English Muffins
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices American cheese
- pinch kosher salt
- pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Heat Griddle: For the Ninja FlexFlame, remove the grates and add the griddle plate. Ignite the burner. Set the grill to the roast/bake function and 425F degrees.
- Shape: Divide the sausage into 8 even pieces. Roll into balls.
- Smash: Place the sausage balls on the griddle. Use a weight to smash them down. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Once they’re seared, use a spatula to flip them over. Cook 1-2 more minutes. Then, transfer to a pan.
- Toast Muffins: Spread butter on the English muffins. Place them butter side down on the griddle and toast for about 30 seconds, until golden brown.
- Fry Eggs: Add any leftover butter to the griddle. Crack the eggs onto the butter. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook 1-2 minutes. Flip. Add a slice of cheese on each egg. Cook 1-2 more minutes.
- Assemble: Place one sausage patty on the bottom of the toasted English muffin. Add a fried egg, another layer of sausage and the top of the muffin.
