Make a classic turkey bacon avocado sandwich with grilled turkey breast tenderloins all on your Ninja Grill.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb turkey breast tenderloin
- 1 tsp Girls Can Grill Chicken Rub
- 8 strips bacon
- 4 French sandwich rolls
- 2 avocados
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp chipotle paste
- 8 slices provolone or pepper jack cheese
Instructions
- Heat Grill: Set your Ninja Grill to the grill function. Set the temperature to medium and the time to 1 hour.
- Season: Remove the turkey breasts from the packaging. Pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with rub.
- Grill: Place the breasts on the grill and close the lid. Cook for 8 minutes. Flip and move to one side of the grill.
- Cook Bacon: Add the strips of bacon to the other side of the grill. Cook for 4 minutes per side. Once the bacon is crispy, remove it from the grill.
- Turkey Temp: The turkey should also be done at this point. It should have an internal temperature of at least 165F/74C. Remove it from the grill.
- Toast Rolls: Cut the rolls in half vertically. Place them cut side down on the bacon grease. Toast for 1 minute.
- Prep: Slice the turkey into strips. Remove the avocado from its peel and slice. In a small bowl, mix the mayo and chipotle paste.
- Assemble: Spread mayo on both sides of the grilled bread. To the bottom bun, layer turkey slices, bacon and 2 cheese slices.
- Melt: Return the bottom half of the sandwich to the grill and cook for 1 minute to melt the cheese.
- Sandwich: Remove from the grill. Top with avocado slices and add the top bun.

Notes
Instead of Chicken Rub, you can use poultry seasoning or kosher salt and black pepper.
For the chipotle paste, buy a can of chipotles in adobo sauce and use just the sauce. You’ll find this in the Mexican food aisle.
If you don’t care for spice, just use plain mayo without the chipotle paste.
