Grilled shrimp goes great with grilled ribeye steaks for when you want to serve up a surf and turf dinner. It’s also great in tacos, on salad and tossed in cooked pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp 16-20 count, peeled, deveined, tail on
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tsp Girls Can Grill Pork Rub
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Instructions

  • Heat Grill: Plug in your Ninja FlexFlame. Turn the propane tank on. Turn the dial to the left to ignite. Turn the dial to the Grill/Pizza setting. Adjust the temperature to 500F degrees. Preheat for 10 minutes.
  • Season: Place the shrimp in a large bowl. Pat dry with a paper towel. Toss with avocado oil and pork rub.
  • Grill: Place the seasoned shrimp on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip. Cook for 2-3 more minutes. The shrimp are cooked through when they reach an internal temperature of 145F degrees or when they turn pink and are no longer opaque.
  • Rest: Remove from the grill. Drizzle with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and melted butter and sprinkle with a little more pork rub.

Notes

If you buy frozen shrimp, make sure it’s fully thawed before seasoning. For a quick thaw, place frozen shrimp in a bowl of cold water. Change the water every 5 minutes or so, until they’re thawed. Be sure to pat them dry with a paper towel before adding oil.
Cook time will vary slightly, depending on what size shrimp you buy.
